A POPULAR pub in the Denbighshire village of Cwm is trading once again after being taken on by new management.
The Blue Lion Inn re-opened on June 1, having been closed since February 26.
Owned by Bodrhyddan Hall, new managers Megan Banks and Jonny White have taken on the running of the pub from Barbara Williams, who had been charge of the Blue Lion for the previous five years.
The pub has re-opened following renovation work, including the addition of a pool table, and the design of a new menu, which can be found below:

Its site dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries, with its older section starting as an inn, marked by the Tudor interior that still dominates a section of the pub.
Megan, who, like Jonny, has great previous experience of working in the hospitality industry, said: "We took it on in March and have been renovating it ever since. There’s a big difference now!
"We’ve put a pool table in, and modernised it while still trying to keep it really traditional.
"We’ve made it a lot brighter, and have tried to create a really nice space where you can spend quality time with your family and friends.
"The menu is completely different; it’s home-cooked, fresh, locally-sourced food.
"When we opened on Wednesday, it was absolutely rammed – it’s been really good, and everyone’s so excited that it’s finally opened again, and how nice it looks inside, which is good, because we put so much work into it!
"We’ll be doing special nights like quiz and burger nights again soon – everyone’s absolutely buzzing about that."
The Blue Lion is open 12-11.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 12pm-12am Friday to Sunday.
