A MAN from Rhyl who was found guilty of threatening another person with a kitchen knife and obstructing a policewoman has been sentenced to a year’s imprisonment.
Lee Rogers, 41, of Maes Arthur, was accused of threatening Karl Pardoe with the knife, also on Maes Arthur, on May 20.
On the same date, Mr Rogers was also accused of wilfully obstructing PC Ashleigh Kite while in the execution of her duty.

He was found guilty of both offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 23.
Mr Rogers received a 52-week concurrent prison sentence.
He avoided having to pay costs, but the court that he be deprived of the knife he used to threaten Mr Pardoe.
