A MAN from Rhyl has been ordered to undertake unpaid work and pay in excess of £150 after he was found guilty of assault in the town.
Nathan Hoverd, 21, of Crescent Road, was accused of assaulting Liam Britton in Rhyl on March 19, thereby causing him actual bodily harm.
Mr Hoverd was found guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 16.

He was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work by May 15, 2023.
Mr Hoverd must also pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £95 victim surcharge.
This made a total payment of £180, which will be paid in monthly instalments of £40 from June 15.
No compensation was requested from the prosecutor as the injured party was not supportive.
