A WOMAN from Conwy who was found guilty of possession of a Class A drug in Prestatyn has been ordered to pay in excess of £200.

Kimberley Welsh, 34, of Beach Road, Penmaenmawr, was accused of cocaine possession in Prestatyn on March 9.

She was found guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 16.

Welsh was fined £120, and was told to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £34 victim surcharge, to be paid in monthly instalments of £20 commencing July 15.

This amounted to a total payment of £239.

The court also ordered that the cocaine be forfeited and destroyed.
