A WOMAN has been handed a suspended sentence and restraining order, and is to pay more than £850, after she was found guilty of stalking a man in St Asaph.
Lisa Adamson, 37, of Rhewl Fawr Road, Pen-Y-Ffordd, was accused of stalking Gareth Appleby by calling at his home address, phoning him and his employer, texting him, and forwarding money into his bank account.
This took place between August 8 and September 30, 2021.
Adamson pleaded not guilty on February 2, but was found guilty on April 4.

At Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 13, she received a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for a year.
This was due to the protracted nature of the offence and the effect on the victim.
Adamson is also forbidden from contacting Mr Appleby or Deborah Newbegin by any means whatsoever, or go within 100m of either of them until May 12, 2025.
She is also to undertake 200 hours of unpaid work and a maximum of 25 days’ rehabilitation activity.
Adamson must also pay £740 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £128 victim surcharge.
This amounted to a total of £868, to be paid in monthly, £80 instalments from June 10.
