THE Football Association of Wales (FAW) have confirmed that Prestatyn Town FC have won their appeal against the decision to reject their Tier 2 licence.
The club had initially been refused a licence after failing to meet infrastructure and personnel criteria as set out by the FAW, but yesterday announced they had appealed the decision, admitting that their fate was “in the hands of the appeal panel”.
We thank the appeals panel and everyone who helped the club during this process we don’t feel the need to comment further only to say we are delighted with the outcome. https://t.co/TQkeS6pRII

With their appeal now successful, the club can look to building for the new season.
New General Manager at the club, Chris Dean, was glad that the panel made the right decision.
“It is done now – we are very happy with the decision.
“We can now put this behind us and move forward as a club, there is work to be done before the next season.”
