DONATIONS of £250 each have been made to two foodbanks in Rhyl, as the cost-of-living crisis worsens.
Rhyl Rotary Club President Gordon Marshall presented the donations to Eunice Parry, co-ordinator of Christchurch Foodbank, and to Pastor Mike Bettaney of King's Storehouse Foodbank at Wellspring Church, in support of the great work they do for those less fortunate.

“During the Christmas period the Rotary Club of Rhyl visited three supermarkets to collect for local charities with their new Santa Sleigh.
“The general public generously donated more than £1500 and we decided at a recent meeting of the club that a significant donation should be passed to two local food banks to help those who are currently struggling through the present economic crisis.
“It was our pleasure to hand over a cheque to each food bank for them to use as they see fit to help local people in the Rhyl area.”
