A MAN from Conwy who was found guilty of three driving-related offences in Denbighshire has been banned from the roads and is to pay more than £900.
David Taylor, 34, of Tan-Y-Fron Road, Deganwy, was accused of the following on January 19 on Abergele Road, Rhuddlan in a Kia vehicle:
• Driving with more than 400 micrograms per litre of Benzoylecgonine (the main metabolite of cocaine) in his bloodstream.
• Driving with more than five micrograms per litre of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC - the cannabinoid molecule in marijuana) in his bloodstream.
• Driving without all rear lights being in working order.
Mr Taylor pleaded guilty to all of the above at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 9.

He received an obligatory disqualification from driving for 23 months, as well as a £750 fine.
Mr Taylor is also to pay a £75 victim surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, to be paid in full by July 8.
This made a total payment of £910.
