POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding alleged sexual offences connected with the Rhyl detachment of the Sea Cadets to help with their investigation.
The incidents in question, North Wales Police (NWP) say, are alleged to have taken place between 1978 and 1989.
NWP have stressed that any information given to them will be treated with “sensitivity, and in the strictest confidence”.
NWP said: “Detectives are currently investigating alleged sexual offences connected with the Rhyl detachment of the Sea Cadets, between 1978 and 1989.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have any information that could assist our specialist officers to come forward and speak to us.
“Any information provided will be treated with sensitivity, and in the strictest confidence.
