A PAIR of vehicles have left the Ffrith park in Prestatyn after the council was made aware of their presence earlier this week.
On Saturday, a Prestatyn resident noticed the two vehicles parked in the park, much to his surprise, the given the resident “didn’t know ‘campers’ were allowed in Ffrith park”.
This follows the multiple sightings of campervans parked near the Eisteddfod Standing Stones in Rhyl, in both July and August last year.

The resident added: “It was Saturday that I noticed them. How they got there, I don’t know, because it’s impossible to get in there with a vehicle.
“Usually, they find a way, just as they did in Rhyl last summer.
“They’re not allowed in there at all; that’s a public area, not for camping or depositing in a corner, for everyone to walk on.
“It was just two, but I’ve seen before, next to the train station in Prestatyn, they started with two and filled it up with more and more.”
Today (May 4), a spokesperson for Denbighshire County Council confirmed that the vehicles are no longer present at the site.
The spokesperson said: “The council was made aware of some vehicles on the Ffrith and they have now vacated the area.
“No further action was required.”
