STUDENTS in Abergele recently donated 67 Easter eggs to the town’s foodbank.
Trainee teaching assistants at Coleg Llandrillo’s Abergele campus collected the eggs after a social media campaign.
Tutor Sian Cosgrove was full of pride for her students, who orchestrated the whole initiative off their own back.

“Myself and all the staff at the college were so impressed with the students’ collective efforts,” said Ms Cosgrove.
“To put so much work into this project for those less fortunate is to be admired.”
