COLEG Llandrillo, Rhyl is preparing to welcome hundreds of local people to its community engagement event on Saturday, May 14.
A host of exciting, hi-tech learning experiences and workshops will be put on to suit all tastes, from planetariums to slime workshops.
What’s more, everyone will get a free goody bag and be in with a chance of winning a pair of Beats Studio earbuds.
The event – which takes place from 10am–2pm - will aim to bring together the people of the town and the surrounding areas and give them the opportunity to find out more about Coleg Llandrillo’s Rhyl Campus on Cefndy Road.

There will also be a careers event, which will give the opportunity to speak to, and get careers advice from, representatives from a range of organisations including the fire service, Army and many other companies.
The event is free and open to everyone, and you can also tantalise your taste buds with a wide range of delicious food options.
Highlights, with plenty more to be confirmed yet, include:

• Bouncy castle.
• Mr Ricky “Prince of Desserts”.
• Gringo’s (Mexican food).
You can tour the facilities, speak to staff about courses for September, and see the college’s plans for the development of the campus – including its new £11million engineering centre.
You’ll also be able to take part in a range of STEM-related (science, technology, engineering and maths) activities, including coding, robotics and engineering.
