A MOTORCYLE club based in Rhuddlan made donations of in excess of 200 Easter eggs to various organisations in the region, continuing its regular charitable endeavours.
This year, the Whistlestop Motorcycle Club had 211 eggs donated from members and from the public.
They were distributed to Happy Faces Children's Charity, the Salvation Army in Rhyl, children's wards at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Prestatyn and Meliden Foodbank, and the Rhyl branch of the Royal British Legion.
This follows the club’s raising of £1,125 at Christmas from its annual raffle, along with donations from members of the public.
This bought 10 portable DVD players for the children's wards in Glan Clwyd, which has been an annual donation for approximately 10 years.

The Christmas raffle also generated donations to Happy Faces, Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team, and the National Association of Disabled Bikers, as well as:
• Welsh Air Ambulance, because the club feels it is important to support this charity as they are essential for support at road traffic accidents.
• British Heart Foundation, as a club member has had heart issues recently.
• St Kentigern and St David’s Hospices, as they have supported club members who have been terminally ill.
The club has been going for 24 years, and in that time we has donated thousands of pounds to regional and national charities.
