A WOMAN from Rhyl is to pay in excess of £200 after she was found guilty of assault by beating.
Nia Rickett, 38, of West Parade, was accused of assaulting Shane Roberts in the town on December 5, 2021.
She pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on April 25.

She was fined £120, and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, to be paid in full as a lump sum within 14 days.
This made a total payment of £239.
An application was also made by the courts for deductions from Rickett’s benefits.
A second offence of actual bodily harm against Mr Roberts, also in Rhyl on the same date, was dismissed.
She had pleaded not guilty to this offence on March 9.
