POLICE are to step up evening foot patrols in an area of Rhyl where there have been recent reports of antisocial behaviour among youths.
North Wales Police (NWP) say this concerns the Children’s Village area of the town’s promenade, with the prospect of a ban from the area for 48 hours.

NWP Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele said on Saturday, April 23: “Due to the reports of antisocial behaviour with youths, which includes underage drinking around the Children’s Village area of Rhyl promenade, there will be an increase in foot patrols during the evening in this area.
“NWP will use the Public Space Protection Order that is currently in place which covers this area, which will ban the individual or groups from the area for 48 hours.
“Any other breaches by the same person in this period can result in a summons to court.”
