A TAKEAWAY in Rhyl has received a zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating, with “major improvement necessary” in two of three areas.
Eastern Delight, on Kinmel Street, was given the score after an assessment on March 17.
The takeaway’s management of food safety was rated “major improvement necessary” by inspectors.
This concerns the checks in place to ensure food is safe to eat, evidence that staff know about food safety, and that the food safety officer was confident that such standards will be maintained.
Its hygienic handling of food, including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage, was also rated “major improvement necessary”.
