A MAN from Prestatyn is to pay £100 and received points on his driving record after he was caught speeding in Merseyside last year.
Kenny Rimmer, aged 29, of Bryn Awelon, was found to be exceeding the 30mph limit on Townsend Avenue, Liverpool on June 14, 2021.
Mr Rimmer was recorded to be driving a Volkswagen vehicle at a speed of 38mph at roughly 5.15pm that day.
The speed limit was signified by street lighting, placed at intervals of less than 200 yards.

He was found guilty of the offence at Wirral Magistrates’ Court on April 19.
He was fined £40, as well as being ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, and additional costs of £26.
This amounted to a total of £100, which he was given until May 17 to pay.
He was also given three penalty points on his driving record.
