A MAN from Prestatyn has been made to pay in excess of £500 after he was found guilty of speeding on a motorway.
James Powell, 43, of Plas Avenue, was found to be exceeding the 70mph restriction on the M6 in Staffordshire on January 14.
Mr Powell was found guilty of the offence at Cannock Magistrates’ Court on April 13.

He was fined £433, as well as being ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £43, and additional costs of £90.
This amounted to a total of £566, which he was given until May 11 to pay.
Mr Powell was also given five penalty points on his driving record.
