The Jurassic Coast hit the top spot overall making it the best road trip in the UK.

The North Coast 500 followed closely behind, with a 7.68 road trip score, followed by the Horseshoe Pass.

Two of the top five road trips were Scottish, with the North Coast 500 being followed by the Road to the Isles (5.6) ranking fifth.

Wales also featured in the top-five twice, with the Horseshoe Pass being joined by fourth-placed Wynrose Pass (5.89).

Dating all the way back to 1811, the Horseshoe Pass route follows a horseshoe shape around the sides of a valley and is very popular with drivers of all kinds.
