A MAN has been disqualified from driving and fined after he was found guilty of drink-driving in Rhyl.
Gavin Ledwards, aged 43, of Haydock Avenue, Manchester, was accused of driving a Vauxhall Combo vehicle on Wellington Road on March 20 with 52 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit in Wales is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
Mr Ledwards pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on April 4.

He was banned from driving for 15 months, though this will be reduced by 15 weeks should he completed an obligatory course by January 20, 2023.
He was also fined £160 and made to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.
This is to be paid in monthly instalments of £25, commencing April 20.
