CHURCHES in Prestatyn are preparing to help any Ukrainian refugees who are housed in the area.
Through “Cytun” (Churches Together), arrangements are being made for a hub based at Trinity Methodist Church, where refugees will be able to go twice a week to meet and socialise over light refreshments.

At present, it is proposed to open every Monday and Thursday morning for a couple of hours, though this could be extended at a later date.
Volunteers from all churches in the region are being sought, though they must have Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
