THE volunteer crew at Rhyl’s Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) group received a £1,433 cheque from Belief, a community charity also based in the town.
The fundraisers took part in the recent RNLI dip at Rhyl beach, which was a great success after being delayed from Boxing Day due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Belief regularly raise money for charities in the region, and the RNLI was one of its chosen organisations to benefit.

Crew members visited them at The Cob and Pen pub recently to receive the cheque, presented by the group.
Coxswain Martin Jones said: “The RNLI is extremely grateful to fundraisers like Belief.
“They do a lot of hard work to help the local community, and we are happy to reciprocate by visiting the hostelry - just for a soft drink, of course!”
