A MAN from Rhyl has been ordered to pay in excess of £550 after he was caught speeding on the A55 last year.
Roy Davison, aged 55, of Clwyd Avenue, was found to be exceeding the 70mph restriction on the road in Rhuallt, Denbighshire on September 12, 2021.
Mr Davison was found guilty of the offence at Mold Magistrates’ Court on March 29.

He was fined £440, as well as being ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44, and additional costs of £90.
This amounted to a total of £574, which he was given until April 26 to pay.
Mr Davison also received five penalty points on his driving record.
