A DRIVER was arrested and had his vehicle seized after being stopped by police in Kinmel Bay yesterday evening (March 24).
North Wales Police (NWP) say the driver held a provisional licence and was arrested “for drug-driving and driving offences”.
NWP’s Intercept Team said: “Vehicle sighted in Kinmel Bay being driven by a provisional licence holder… turns out he likes to smoke cannabis too.
“Driver arrested for drug driving and driving offences. Driver has also had his vehicle seized.”

Elsewhere, another driver, along with his passenger remains in custody after failing a roadside drugs test in Abergele last night.
NWP’s Intercept Team added: “Another BMW 1 Series driver stopped in Abergele. and he also likes to mix cannabis and cocaine after failing the roadside drugs test.
“Further searches of him and his passenger carried out, and a quantity of Class A drugs located, and both remain in custody.”
