A MAN from Prestatyn has received points on his driving record and ordered to pay more than £200 after driving without third party insurance and a licence in Rhyl.
Michael Clarke, aged 36, of Central Avenue, was accused of driving on Rhyl’s Coast Road on December 14, 2021 without such insurance or a licence.
He was found guilty of these offences at Mold Magistrates’ Court on March 14.

For driving without third party insurance, Mr Clarke was fined £80, and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90.
For driving without a licence, he was fined £40.
This amounted to a total of £244, of which Mr Clarke was told to pay £24 per month commencing April 11.
Mr Clarke was also given six and three penalty points on his driving record for not having third party insurance and a licence respectively.
