A WOMAN from Rhyl has had an offence overturned having been accused of failing to provide the identity of a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
Lauren Powell, 27, of Bath Street, was accused of not giving information relating to the identity of the driver in question after being asked to do so by a member of North Wales Police.

Ms Powell was fined £660, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £90 at Mold Magistrates’ Court on March 10.
This amounted to a total of £816, which she was told to pay by April 7.
She also received six penalty points on her driving record.
But an application to re-open this case was granted, and at Mold Magistrates' Court on June 1, the offence was withdrawn.
