A PAIR of men from St Asaph were fined after being found guilty of assault in Caernarfon.
Llion Edwards, 44, and Sam Edwards, 22, were both accused of assaulting Michael McCarthy on Llanberis Road on July 29, 2021.
Both men pleaded not guilty to the offence on December 16, but were found guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on March 4.
Llion Edwards was fined £750, and ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £75, and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £430.
This amounted to a total of £1,355, of which he was told to pay £100 per month commencing April 1.
Sam Edwards was fined £400, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40, and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £200.
Of this total of £640, he also was made to pay £100 per month commencing April 1.
