Nicky’s return to the Weatherfield cobbles will cause chaos for ex-lover Daniel Osbourne and his relationship with barmaid Daisy Midgeley.
Nicky was last seen in September 2020 when she moved away after Daniel paid off her debts for her to leave the world of prostitution.
A source for The Sun said: “Daniel’s world is going to be rocked when Nicky unexpectedly turns up on the cobbles.
“She was there for him in his darkest hour after Sinead’s death but he didn’t think he’d ever see her again.
“Now he’s secretly with Daisy but could Nicky put the final nail in the coffin for their seemingly doomed relationship?”.
After her first stint on the show, Ms Hart-Simpson, who is also a fashion designer, had appeared on Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion on E4.
The 34-year-old has also played Beverley in Hollyoaks and Chantelle in Mount Pleasant.
