PRESENTER and entertainment editor for ITV's breakfast show Good Morning Britain paid a visit to Abergele Golf Club.
Richard broadcasted 'live' from the golf club's balcony.
During his broadcast, he said: "All eyes are on Richard Madeley and we know Richard is very much afraid of heights and the one task that would put the fear in the lord into me would be the plank.
"Now we know our Kate a couple of years ago did a blinding job coming fourth on the show 'down under' when she took to the plank, like anybody else, she was wobbling like jelly on a plate. So I wonder how our Dickie will fair when he settles into the castle behind me tonight.
"Once again we took to the streets to find out what the locals thought of his prospects."
What do the @imacelebrity locals think about @richardm56 entering Gwrych castle?

Another young person interviewed commented: "I don't know who he is to be honest with you."
Another person added: "I think he has got quite a good chance."
Another said: "I am hoping we see a little bit more of his vulnerable side because nobody can be that arrogant all the time!"
He was also described by one man as a "living legend".
Richard added: "He is a living legend of course and our eyes will all be on him at Good Morning Britain. But the other jeopardy for Dickie, apart from his fear of heights, will be separation from Judy. He is going to miss their anniversary this year."
Abergele Golf Club posted on Facebook: "We had the wonderful Richard Arnold here broadcasting live from our balcony for Good Morning Britain.
"Welcome to Abergele Richard."
