PARENTS have rated a children’s setting as one of the top 20 nurseries in Wales.

Daisy Chains in Prestatyn received the exciting accolade from the day nurseries reviews site, daynurseries.co.uk.

The award is based on the nursery’s reviews from the children’s families and carers.

The setting was rated on overall standard, facilities and outside space, learning, resources and equipment and ICT, care, activities, staff, food and nutrition, management, cleanliness, safeguarding as well as value for money.

The childcare setting, which ditched plastic toys in favour of natural play, achieved ‘excellent’ following their inspection by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) last year during the first lockdown.
