THE music of the Second World War rang out across Rhyl town centre to celebrate 100 years of the Royal British Legion (RBL).
Singers, including John Overton and Goodnight Sweethearts, performed 1940s songs in traditional costume on Rhyl High Street on Saturday, August 14.
Bear, a six-foot teddy bear dressed in army uniform, was also at the event, whcih raised £521.
RBL fundraiser Richard Kendrick organised the event and said: “It was a great day, even with the rain. It didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Big thanks to everyone who helped.”
