A MAN has appeared in court accused of murdering a teenage girl at a Towyn holiday park.
Matthew Selby, of Windermere Crescent, Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, was charged with the murder on Monday, August 2, having been arrested last weekend.
The 19-year-old appeared at Llandudno Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 3.
Selby spoke only to confirm his personal details at the brief hearing which lasted less than two minutes.
The matter will be heard at Mold Crown Court tomorrow (August 4) at 10am, the lead magistrate confirmed, due to the severity of the case.
The 15-year-old girl – Amanda Selby - had been found dead at the park and a murder enquiry was subsequently launched.
