A SPECIAL tree has been painted at a school to showcase ongoing charity work.
The 'charity tree' is displayed on the wall in Christ The Word's Catholic School main avenue.
When safety permits, all the children throughout the school will be able to enjoy it.
Tracey Noakes, teacher at Christ The Word in Rhyl, said: "The school charity tree has been painted by Carrie Ornsby, a member of our school support staff.
"Carrie is extremely talented. The tree will showcase our previous and ongoing charity work from the Foundation Phase up to Year 11 and be a reminder to our students of their charitable donations.
"Each year group is responsible for a charity such as The British Heart Foundation and MIND, as well as many others.
"The tree serves as a constant reminder of the purpose and mission of our school, which is to help those in need."
