POST boxes in Rhyl have been treated to new knitted hats and this time they have a nautical feel.
The detailed hats - which feature an octopus, crab and mermaid - are the latest creations by yarn bomber Rachel Williamson.
Speaking to the Journal, Rachel said: "I think I've done about 70 now since the start of lockdown and they haven't lost their magic. The response is still amazing from people who actively go out to find them.
"I receive lovely messages from people and kind donations of yarn.
"I have help from my sister and my mum so it keeps us all occupied during lockdown and it makes a lot of people smile."
The retired police officer has been cheering up residents with her homemade post box toppers since the first lockdown last year.
The latest batch also includes a gnome surrounded by animal friends and a mole on Lynton Walk post box.
Rachel added: "The [latest] theme started with the octopus. I just thought he'd look great on top of a post box. So then I decided to stick with a nautical theme.
"I enjoyed making the octopus the most and the crab.
"I think I've done eight so far and there's a few more in the pipeline. I put one out on Sunday with little fish on for people to take.
"Twenty fish vanished in no time at all and now I've had to enlist some help to make some more - my mum and my friend".
