Prestatyn Town have appointed Andrew Ruscoe as the club's new General Manager and community relations officer.

In a statement the club said: "Since joining the club Andy has been amazing his enthusiasm has shone through dark times and his love for Prestatyn Town has grown day by day"

Chairman Jamie Welsh said he was delighted Andy had agreed to accept such a role at the club.

The statement continued: "The club has also appointed a new media officer who will be working closely with Andy and Phil Norval on the content posted on social media Twitter and Facebook sites whilst also providing matchday analysis and coverage."

Mr Ruscoe said: "I am very honoured and humbled to be offered a very important role at such a huge club within the Welsh footballing pyramid.

"Hopefully we can further develop the club on and off the pitch by potentially developing stronger links with the local community and strategise a focus on growing other areas of the club”
