HUNDREDS of votes were cast as as part of Prestatyn’s virtual Christmas tree festival.
The annual event, usually held at at Christ Church in Prestatyn, transitioned to online in response to the pandemic.
Entrants submitted photographs and videos of their trees.
The winners are as follows:

First place: Mary Morris ‘Winter Wonderland’ - everything was knitted (except the lights) including the tree.

Reverend David Ash, vicar of Prestatyn, said: “We were delighted with this event, with thousands viewing. We hope to be back in Church next year as there is such a wonderful atmosphere that can’t be reproduced online.

“The top two in the children’s section provided videos that added singing and a storytime respectively, and their supporters really appreciated that extra effort.”

For the Christmas Eve Communion, parishioners must book on to services.
Timings are:
6.30pm at the Church of the Holy Spirit
7.30pm at Christ Church (Parish Church)
8.30pm at the Church of the Holy Spirit
9.30pm at Christ Church.
