A MIXED doubles competition held at St Melyd golf club saw the lady vice captain and her playing partner come out on top.
Ann Hughes and Craig Hyder picked up the Jack Eglin mixed trophy on Sunday, August 16.
The impressive duo beat runners-up Helen Williams and Andy Pope by just a single stroke at the Denbighshire golf course.
St Melyd is situated below a wooded hillside above Prestatyn. The course there contains a mature parkland with tree lined fairways and excellent greens, perfect for some great rounds of golf.
Any new members looking to sign up, now that the coronavirus lockdown is easing, will be given a warm welcome by current St Melyd members and visitors to the course alike.
