AS expected, the Borders Road-Running League season is officially over.

League officials have decided that with no likelihood of the final two races being held, the awards will be based on positions held after the fifth race in Wrexham last week.

Both Prestatyn Running Club’s men and women finished sixth in Division One, with individual awards now going to Steve Forsyth (3rd M40), Sian Beck (3rd L40), Gareth Hughes (1st M70) and Mike Davis (2nd M70).

With so much uncertainty over how long the current restrictions on movement and socialising will apply, it is not known when the AGM, normally held in July, will take place.
