A RHYL man who had been a drug user since he was a teenager was found dead by his care worker, an inquest heard.
At a hearing in Ruthin a conclusion of a drug-related death was recorded on 50-year-old Marcel Vogelsberger, who suffered from physical and mental health problems.
When he was found in his flat at Maes Bryn Melyd on March 19 last year he was surrounded by drug paraphernalia.
Toxicology tests revealed that he had taken a therapeutic level of anti-depressants and there was evidence of cocaine use, but no evidence of other drugs.
Consultant pathologist Dr Andrew Dalton found there was no specific toxic level of drugs and gave the cause of death as "mixed drug toxicity".
