SCHOOL children will perform Supertramp's ‘Give A Little Bit’ as part of their fundraising to help those affected by Australia's bushfires.
In response to the recent bushfires disaster in Australia, Ysgol Y Foryd Infant School, in Kinmel Bay, have formed a school choir.
The school's newly elected prime minister Elle Young and cabinet members are helping to promote the fundraising event.
Carmel Mcgrath, teaching assistant. said: "Our year one classes have been learning about the rainforest and climate change, and have shown a great interest in the recent events in Australia.
"Our school also has a personal link to a past student teacher who now lives in Australia and has been personally affected by the devastating fires.
"The performance will be posted on social media and a live performance will be being held at Kinmel bay church."
The 'big sing' will take place the week before Easter at Kinmel Bay church on April 1.
Children have made posters and badges and have made a money tree in school to they can record how much is being raised.
Carmel added: "We had our first choir practice the other day and it went really well. Dong words have gone home for all the children to learn.
"Every class now have personalised Sid the sloth badges to wear and Perham prints kindly donated a banner for our school.
"Our next opportunity to promote our fundraiser is during a coffee shop on Friday, February, 14 where the school prime minister and cabinet ministers will give the parents an update on our progress."
