POLICE investigating the death of a Rhyl shopkeeper are appealing for a taxi driver to come forward.
Amarjeet Singh-Bhakar, 37, died after being stabbed during an incident on Prince Edward Avenue, Rhyl, last month. North Wales Police believe that a taxi had to slow down as it manoeuvred through a crowd of people on Prince Edward Avenue at about 3am on Sunday, April 30.
Det Insp Gary Kelly, of North Wales Police, said: “We believe that a taxi had to slow down almost to a stop as it manoeuvred through a crowd of people on Prince Edward Avenue Rhyl at around 3am on the morning of Sunday April 30.
“The vehicle is described a saloon or long-shaped vehicle, light in colour similar to a Vauxhall Vectra.
“I am appealing for the driver to come forward or anyone else who may have information which could assist our investigation.”

Two teenage youths have been charged with the murder of Amarjeet Singh-Bhakar and are due to stand trial in October.
