WILLIAMS Alan Roy Alan Roy Williams passed peacefully away at the Countess of Chester Hospital on 24th April 2022, aged 87 years, in the loving arms of Peter and Sara. Dearly loved by Angela and all his children, Gary, Linda, Mark, Peter and David as well as all his grandchildren. Air Force Gunnery Sergeant, Radiologist, aid worker, builder, Alan will be greatly missed by the huge number of people whose lives he touched or saved, reuniting war orphans with their extended families in Nigeria, and setting up and helping to run refugee camps in Sudan and Rwanda. The funeral will be held at Chester Crematorium on Friday 13th May at 11.20. Mourners are requested to wear Hawaiian shirts if possible in commemoration of Alan as per his wishes for a celebration.
