EDNA BEATTIE Passed away at home on the 9th of August 2021 aged 94 years. Edna will be very dearly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday 31st of August, at Denbighshire Memorial Park and Crematorium, at 1pm. Family flowers only please, but if desired, donations in memory of Edna will be gratefully be accepted for North Clwyd Animal Rescue. I will miss bumping into Ms Beattie in the local area greatly. I loved listening to her tell me of her time breading dogs. She would always ask me how I was especially during the time of expecting my first child and will cherish memories of her knocking on the door to see our new born. Rest in peace Ms Beattie x

Dearest Edna, a beautiful light has gone out in the neighbourhood but there is one more shining star to light up the night sky! A little lady with the biggest heart, a true legend. Miss you so much. Love Pauline xxx

They may not all have known her by name, but almost everyone in the neighbourhood and local shops knew Edna and her lovely cheeky little smile.
Edna was made of the right stuff, and her energy and stamina was an inspiration to all. I will miss seeing her walking the country lanes each morning and waiting for the bus into town. Rest In Peace, Edna.
