ROBERTS MELVILLE We are sad to announce the passing of Melville Roberts on 16th April aged 91 years of Rhuddlan. Mel was the loving husband of the late Thelma and a devoted father to Sue and son in law Martin and his precious granddaughters Amy and Sophie and their partners Kyle and James. Born in Castle St, Rhuddlan he was the last serving of five children, Tommy, Grenville, Megan and Brinley. Mel had served in the Tank Corp of the 9th Lancers, his brothers Tommy and Grenville had also served in the army and brother Brinley in the RAF which was rare all in one family from a little village that Rhuddlan was then. He worked for many years at Central Garage in Rhuddlan, Manweb and then Pilkingtons P.E until retirement. Due to current circumstances a private family service will take place and a celebration of Mel's life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Air Ambulance.
