Philip Stephen Anwyl died peacefully at the age of 69 years in the St Boniface Hospital on November 19th 2009. He was born on September 16th 1940 in Rhyl, second son of Bill and Kathleen Anwyl. After school in went into journalism and in 1969 he joined the Winnipeg Free Press, a Canadian daily newspaper where he spent the rest of his career as Business Editor. A memorial service was held on December 8th in Winnipeg.
