TWENTY new jobs will be created when a car dealership opens in Chester later this month.
Developers are putting the final touches on a new Swansay Motors dealership, which has been built on the former Audi site in Sealand Road. The family owned business, which has locations across the region, expects the £450,000 development to open for business in the next couple of weeks.
Residents who drive Peugeots are also being offered full service to their vehicles for a discounted price of £30 to celebrate that the business has been appointed as an official Peugeot dealer.
Dealer principal Andrew Wakelin said: “I’ve worked with Peugeot before and I’ve been with the Smyth family, who own and run Swansway, for many years. We wanted to welcome Peugeot owners to our new dealership with a really genuine offer, something that would represent a real cost saving in these rather turbulent times.
“We thought what better than the ultimate £30 service, any interval, any model, it certainly beats a branded pen and a chamois leather.”
The development will offer customers a ten-car showroom, a workshop for aftersales, service and parts and a relaxed and comfortable environment for customers to browse the Peugeot range.
