MOTORISTS are being warned of a police-escorted abnormal load travelling along main routes in Flintshire this morning (Wednesday, May 15).
North Wales Police (NWP) has said the load will be travelling from the M56 westbound to Presthaven Sands, Gronant at 11am.
The escort will travel along the A494 in Deeside, onto the A55 before exiting at the Northop/Flint junction. It will then travel along the A5119 Northop Road into Flint, and onto the A548 Coast Road.
A NWP spokesperson said: "Please allow extra time for your journey and use alternative routes where appropriate."
