A MAN from Trelogan is set to start offering face-to-face guitar lessons again at his studio in Bodelwyddan following a full refurbishment of the premises.

Lee Cunliffe, 36, plans to re-open his studio, at unit six of the Victoria Trading Estate on Abergele Road, on June 4.

His business provides music tuition and guitar lessons to people in the area and beyond – “we're the only dedicated business in North Wales for this specific service,” he said.

A full-time teacher and touring musician with 20 years’ teaching experience and a degree in music, Lee set up Cunliffes Music four years ago.

He moved into his current Bodelwyddan unit two years ago, but all lessons are currently held remotely while it undergoes its revamp.

Lee said: “We’re having a full refit – new desks, audio setup – we’re investing a good few thousand pounds into it to refurbish it.

“At the Bodelwyddan site, there will be guitar lessons, for both electric and acoustic, and of all abilities and genres.

“We also have four tutors teaching vocals, piano, bass, drums, and advanced acoustic guitar styles.”

Lee, who balances time with his wife and children with touring the UK, currently teaches 18 people a week via Zoom, some of whom are based in the United States.
