A FIRE involving a car near a shopping park was accidental, it has bene confirmed.
A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed to the Journal just before 2.20pm on Saturday that one crew from Rhyl was attendance at the scene.
The incident, which was reported just before 2pm, involved a car in the Prestatyn Shopping Park area.
A spokesman confirmed at around 5.30pm that the cause of the blaze was determined to be accidental.
The damage was confined to the vehicle's engine bay, with 30 per cent fire damage recorded.
