A ROAD in Prestatyn closed yesterday because of a car fire, police have said.
Gronant Road was closed yesterday afternoon, between 4pm and 5pm, as police dealt with what they said was an "ongoing incident".
Motorists had been warned to avoid the area, and the road was eventually reopened.
Police have now said that this was due to a car blaze.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "The incident in Prestatyn appears to have been a car fire."
No other details were provided.
